Kiedy owce naszej rasy osiągają wiek 1 roku poddawane są ocenie wartości użytkowej i hodowlanej, w tym czy spełniają wzorzec rasy. Ocenia się m.in. pochodzenie, plenność matki, wagę czy jakość wełny.
Komisja zebrała się u nas w czwartek i oceniła każdą samicę:
Teraz już tylko czekamy na decyzję, czy zostaną wpisane do ksiąg zwierząt zarodowych. Liczymy na to, że każda z nich dostanie licencję.
Our sheep are now 12 month old and they had just been examined – they utility and breeding value, including whether they sustain the pedigree model. Parentage, prolific indexes, weight and wool condition were among the factors taken into consideration.
The commission was examining all our females on Thursday and we are now waiting for they decision. Hopefully all our sheep will be registered for breeding and get the licence.
